The extension bars are manufactured from hardened and tempered chrome vanadium steel capable of withstanding the relevant DIN standard 20%, while the thick chrome plating provides added corrosion protection. The male drive ends are fitted with spring-loaded ball bearing, aiding socket retention, while the knurled shaft delivers extra grip, both features especially useful in vehicle workshop environments.
